Terms and Conditions of Use
By opening the shipment, removing medication(s), or using the contents provided by the dispensing pharmacy, the recipient acknowledges that they have reviewed and agree to these Terms and Conditions of Use. Opening the package, removing medication(s), or using the contents constitutes acceptance of these terms. If the recipient does not agree to these Terms and Conditions, the shipment should not be opened or used, and the dispensing pharmacy must be contacted immediately.
Recipients should open and inspect shipments promptly upon delivery. Before removing medication(s) from the packaging, the recipient should confirm that the shipment appears intact, that the labeling matches the intended patient and prescription, and that appropriate packaging and temperature-control materials are present where applicable. Delayed opening of the shipment may expose medication to environmental conditions outside recommended ranges and may affect stability or performance.
The pharmacy utilizes validated packaging and shipping methods designed to maintain appropriate temperature conditions during normal transit; however, environmental conditions during delivery and after receipt are outside the pharmacy’s control. Recipients are responsible for promptly transferring medication to appropriate storage conditions after delivery and for maintaining storage conditions consistent with labeling and product information.
Responsibility for proper storage, handling, safeguarding, and use of the medication transfers to the recipient upon delivery to the address provided with the order. If a shipment is left unattended after delivery, exposed to environmental conditions, or otherwise not promptly secured or placed into proper storage, medication stability or effectiveness may be affected.
If there are concerns regarding shipment condition, packaging integrity, labeling accuracy, or potential temperature exposure, the medication should not be used until the dispensing pharmacy has been contacted and guidance has been provided. Use of the medication after receipt constitutes acknowledgment that the shipment appeared acceptable and that storage conditions were followed to the best of the recipient’s ability.
Medications dispensed by the pharmacy are provided pursuant to a valid prescription and are intended solely for use by the patient identified on the prescription. Medications should be used only as directed by the prescribing healthcare provider and should not be shared, transferred, or used by any other individual.
All medications, including compounded medications where applicable, may carry risks, including the possibility of side effects, allergic reactions, adverse drug reactions, or other serious medical events. By using the medication, the recipient acknowledges and accepts the inherent risks associated with medication use, including the possibility of serious or unexpected adverse reactions. Medication decisions should be made in consultation with a qualified healthcare provider.
Recipients who experience unexpected reactions, have concerns about the medication condition, or have questions about use may consult their prescribing healthcare provider and submit a report or complaint using the reporting mechanism on the information page associated with this shipment. Contact emergency medical services for medical emergencies.
Shipping carriers and delivery services operate independently from the pharmacy. The carrier determines delivery times, handling conditions, and final placement of shipments and may be affected by weather, logistics, or other factors beyond the pharmacy’s control. Once delivery has occurred at the address provided with the order, responsibility for safeguarding the medication transfers to the recipient.
These Terms and Conditions may be updated periodically. Continued use of medication or associated services following any updates constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms and Conditions.
